Born in Subotica in 1957. Elementary and high school completed in Subotica. Graduated from the Faculty of Medicine in Novi Sad in 1982, where she completed specialist studies in the field of transfusion and gained the title l. spec. transfusiologist. During 2010 and 2011, she enrolled in a master's degree in health management in Belgrade (the project was funded by the European Union). She worked as a general practitioner in the Health Care Service, as a specialist intern and specialist MD in the General Hospital Subotica, and since 1995 she has been employed at the Gerontology Center Subotica in managerial positions.

She speaks Hungarian and English.
